This new, six week online art class, to learn to draw and connect with nature.
Wild Watercolour Workshop – In person at CERES
May I present to you the Wild Watercolour Workshops, at CERES environment park in East Brunswick where I am currently Artist in Residence. The workshop is held across two dates. In these we will explore the wilder side of ink and watercolour, using it wet on wet and in the environment. We will be using some more experimental techniques and methods to really get the creativity flowing.
These sessions will be held outdoors at CERES, giving you the chance to emerge yourself in nature while you work. Over the course of the two afternoons we will explore a range of methods (suitable for the beginners or advanced) and explore our materials. Over the course of the two days you will produce something that is truly unique and a reflection of your personal perspective of the environment.

new Art Classes!
FIVE WEEK COURSE!
Welcome, so glad to see you here.
I am a professional artist with a passion for sharing my knowledge in a fun and informative way. I believe everyone can learn to draw. I studied art for ten years, I have a Masters of Fine Art and have been supporting artists for nearly two decades. I have been running my own classes since for nearly ten years and teach drawing at university in Melbourne as well.
I am a Melbourne based artist who makes large-scale drawings, mixed media works, oil paintings and multi-sensory installations.I have been tutoring and mentoring artists for the last 15 years. I started running art classes at Span Community House in Thornbury in 2011.
I genuinely believe that anyone can learn to draw and that the basic techniques are a skill set like reading and writing.
I have an encouraging and friendly approach. I teach in a fun, challenging and experimental way, while imparting a strong knowledge of traditional techniques and skills as well.
I hold a Masters of Fine Art and a Honours Degree in Fine Art majoring in Drawing from RMIT where I studied under renowned drawing teacher Godwin Bradbeer. I have been life drawing for 25 years. I have held 15 solo exhibitions, and my artwork in held in many private collections.
I work from my studio at home in leafy Melbourne Australia.
